An Asian inspired clock and storage chest. A wood clock with a gold tone, purple and black lacquered finish that features a pagoda shape with a clock and a storage chest. the case has a tapered, two-tiered design with a roof style bonnet with scrolled arm accents. The clock is set on a top tier with a purple finish and gilded design that has decorative side columns and a box style frame. The box displays a gold tone framed clock with a glass cover and a silvertone metal dial with black Roman numerals and hands. The lower tier is a storage chest with purple side columns and painted doors that open to display a wood interior and the chest stands on a gold tone base with a carved scrollwork and foliate design and carved tapered feet. There are no apparent makers marks.
