A group of two Washington Monument Association bronze medals. Both medals have an image of George Washington on the obverse with ‘Stuck by Order Of Congress To Commemorate The Centenary of Washington’s Death’. On one medal, the reverse has an image of an angel holding a torch flying over a farm with ‘Washington Foremost Farmer of His Day’. The other medal’s reverse has an image of an antique firetruck with ’ Washington Member of Friendship Fire Co. 1773’. Metal content: bronze. Diameter: 40.3 mm. Medals are circulated and in good condition.
