A Howard Miller English bracket carriage clock. This vintage timepiece features a cherry finished case with select hardwoods and veneers, a brass handle, and a layered bonnet. The walnut veneer and inlaid wood framed glass front door displays silver tone dial, raised silver tone Arabic numbers, and an etched floral design. The dial also features a fretwork gold tone center, floating movement with black serpentine hands, three key arbors, and raised brass spandrels. Other features of the clock include a German 8-day time and strike, two jeweled movement with Westminster chimes, and a chime silence lever. The clock has a hinged back door and stands on a plinth style base with adjustable feet. It is marked ‘Howard MIller’ to the face.
