A vintage Queen Anne style secretary bookcase by Maddox Colonial. This curved pediment secretary features two glass panel cabinet doors with brass hardware opening to two glass shelves and recessed light over a slant front, drop panel opening to storage compartments and petite drawers. The lower base features a top drawer flanked by sliding rail supports over three full width drawers. The drawers feature brass batwing plates, bail handles, and escutcheons. This piece rises on cabriole legs with pad feet. It is marked ‘Maddox Colonial’ to a sticker on the back. This item is located on the second floor.
