A Colonial oak grandfather clock with a moon phase dial. A classic style grandfather clock with an oak case that has a golden oak finish with a brass dial and colorful moon phase dial. The case has a curved pediment with burl wood panels and an oak and beveled glass door flanked by burl wood side columns with turned corner blocks. The door has an arched top panel that displays a gold tone dial with raised brass spandrels and a silver tone chapter ring with raised gold tone Arabic numbers, three key arbors and black serpentine hands. The dial is accented with a gold tone dial over a pink and blue moon scene with gilded world emblems. Other features of the clock include a lower glass door that displays a polished brass lyre pendulum and cylinder style weights on chains. The clock has a weight driven, time and strike movement with chimes on the quarter and the hour and the clock stands on a wood pedestal with a burl wood overlay and a plinth style base. There are no apparent makers marks.
