Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Kashan area rug. This wool carpet is hand-knotted in a palette of muted red, navy blue, golden tan, sky blue,emerald green,peach, cream, and black. It features a scalloped diamond shaped central medallion on a field patterned with lancet leaves and palmettes. It is framed by floral meander and herati pattern borders. Finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end. Marked tot the verso.
