Signed, Wheel Thrown and Altered Raku Fired Vase

A signed, wheel thrown and altered raku fired vase. This exceptional example of copper flashed raku work features a wide rolled rim to the top of an elongated ovoid body. It features intentional ‘cracks’ and crevices to the surface and has been finished in the raku process with copper flashing, in a bright, iridescent palette of copper greens, oranges, golds and fuchsia. The vase is signed ‘Erin’ to the underside.
