A ceramic reproduction sculpture titled The Kiss after the original by French sculptor Auguste Rodin (1840-1917). This piece depicts two lovers, originally Paolo and Francesca from Dante’s Divine Comedy, engaged in an embrace and kiss while seated, nude, on a rock. It is inscribed, appearing to read ‘AMR’ and dated 1977, with a ’Made in U.S.A. label to the underside. The piece is finished with a bronze tone paint and sits upon a painted black plaster base.
