An etching on paper of a figurative scene by Meir Gur-Arie (Israel; 1891 – 1951). The work depicts a seat figure riding a donkey with a standing figure balancing a basket on their head. To the bottom right, the work is signed. The print is presented matted under glass in a wooden frame.

Condition

- wear to the edges of the frame; nicks and wear to the face of the frame; glass could benefit from a cleaning; debris trapped below the frame; discoloration to the mat; warping and foxing to the surface of the image; discoloration to the edges of the print; to the verso, extensive wear to the protective backing.
