A restrike engraving on paper titled Frederick, Duke of Shonberg by Dutch engraver Jacobus Houbraken (1698-1780) after a painting by English artist Sir Godfrey Kneller (1646-1723). This print features a portrait of the Duke of Shonberg with a featured cartouche beneath him. It is signed and inscribed in plate to the lower margin. A certificate of authenticity is included to the verso. This work is presented matted and housed in a wooden frame behind acrylic glass.

Condition

- to fair; toning, creasing, and some foxing to paper; large horizontal crease in the center of print; some dust and accretions to acrylic glass and frame; scratches and dents to frame.
