A vintage American Empire style mahogany chest of drawers by W.A. Hathaway Company. This rectangular top chest features a raised step back shelf with three aligned drawers. The chest features a full width, shaped drawer overhanging three full width, stacked drawers with dovetail joinery and knob handles. The drawers are flanked by turned stiles and terminate on turned legs and casters. This piece is marked ‘W.A. Hathaway Co’ to a drawer interior.
