A commemorative English Royal Wedding porcelain pill box. This piece celebrates the union of Prince William of Wales and Kate Middleton on April 29, 2011. The round box features a white glaze with embossed ribs, a tan leaf swags and ribbon designs around the sides, as well a gadroon style gilt band and trim. The sides and lid are adorned with the letters ‘W’ and ‘C’ for William and Catherine, and the lid reads in gilt letters, ‘To Celebrate the Marriage of Prince William of Wales and Catherine Middleton, 29th April 2011’. The interior also features a depiction of two doves with a gilt wedding band at the base. The underside is marked, ‘The Royal Collection, English Fine Bone Chine, Made in England’.
