Item Details
A vintage French style mahogany parquetry cylinder desk with side chair. The desk features a narrow top with gallery above three aligned drawers and parquetry inlaid cylinder top that lifts to reveal a writing surface. Below is a drawer with crossbanded trim and metal foliate pulls. The desk rises on cabriole legs with carved knees, paw feet, and stretchers. It is accompanied by a vintage wood side chair with a straight crest rail, pierced splat, needlepoint upholstered seat, and tapered square legs. There are no visible maker’s marks.
