Item Details
A late 19th-century to early 20th-century Persian gouache painting on paper of a black vulture. The raptor is shown perched on a white stone knob, its form highly detailed with intricate feature patterning and subtle coloration. A quote by Hazrat Zainab in Urdu script is incorporated into the composition to the top. The print is displayed under glass in a white mat with ink-lined borders and gilded wooden frame with beaded inside edge. The frame is wired to the verso for hanging.
