A group of over 35 WWII era military maps of Italy. All are unframed and rolled together. Most say ‘For use by War and Navy Department Agencies only.’ and ‘Not for sale or distribution’. Some say ‘Not To Be Used For Artillery Fixation’. Areas shown include Pontebba, Dogna, Tolmezzo, Tarcento, Udine, Chiapovano, Kranj, Idria, Sorcia, Palmanova, Latisana, Montespino, Monfalcone, Gorizia and more. The group includes first, second and third editions. The maps were prepared by the Chief of Engineers of the US Army of the US Army Map Service.

Condition

All are rolled together. some have creases. all have edge wear.
