An exceptional hand-painted ceramic seed pot with a carved wood stand by Hopi artist Nona Naha, a Hopi-Tewa of the Corn Clan. The pot features an elongated ovoid shape with hand-painted polychrome reptile forms on opposite sides in a palette of black and reddish brown on a taupe ground. It is signed ‘Nona Naha’ to the underside and presented on a carved wood stand made of interlocking figurative pieces.
