An acrylic painting on canvas board signed ‘Hall.’ This piece depicts a white hen surrounded by her chicks in a field of browned grass. The work is signed to the lower left and presented in a shadowbox frame made from a recycled wooden shipping crate and displayed with hay and broken eggshells glued along the bottom inside ledge. There is wire to the verso for hanging.

- accretion throughout; rough edges to frame.
