A 20th century Japanese ukiyo-e woodblock print after Utagawa Hiroshige I (歌川広重, 1797–1858). The piece is titled View of Takanawa in Moonlight from the series Famous Places in the Eastern Capital. The piece depicts a harbor with docked boats and a village with figures in the foreground. The piece is signed to the upper right in plate ‘Hiroshige ga’ (広重画). It is presented matted in a wooden frame under glass.

Condition

- warping to paper; foxing to paper; minor staining to mat; surface wear and finish loss to frame.
