Hand-Knotted Mir-A-Boteh Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted mir-a-boteh carpet runner. The rug has been worked in scarlet, ivory, emerald, burgundy, maize, citron, clementine, and robin’s egg blue. The scarlet field is infilled with a repeating pattern of densely placed stylized boteh. Reciprocal minor borders flank a stylized vine and boteh primary border. The selvedges have been finished by hand and there is fringe at each end. The rug is not marked.
