A Chinese watercolor of a wiseman and turtle. Thought to be after artwork by artist Zhong Shi. The art depicts a wiseman talking to a turtle. This watercolor on paper is dated 1991 and accompanied by a poetic inscription along the right side, with a red artist mark to the lower left. The art is presented in a dark stained wood frame under glass, with both charcoal and black mats. Reverse is marked ‘Malton Gallery.’ It includes a rear wire and is ready to hang.
