Antique KPM World War One Plates
Item Details
A pair of antique Prussian World War One era plates from the Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur. One of the plates features a Prussian Iron Cross with the royal moniker of Whilelm II and the year 1914 in the center which is surrounded they a wreath of oak leaves. The border of the plate features a hand-painted gilt border with cobalt blue cartouches. The other plate in the grouping is hand-decorated with an Prussian Iron Cross in the center and a laurel leaf wreath around the border. Each plate is marked to the underside with the KPM orb and secpter along with a black cross which was used by the factory during the years of World War One, 1914-1918.
