A group of three antique and vintage German and Russian porcelain plates. Offered is a Volkstedt memorial plate that translates ‘For Country he died/ Death has killed him in his youthful strength’. It is accompanied with a Kronilow Brothers farm scene plate decorated with a log house and a boat with geese. The selection rounds off with a transferware plate displaying an image of Kaiser Whilelm II against a white ground with blue and red borders. This piece bears no discernible maker’s marks.
