Mixed Set of Vintage Chippendale Style Dining Chairs

Item Details

A mixed set of eight vintage Chippendale style dining chairs. The set includes seven side chairs, three with taller backs and four with shorter backs, as well as one arm chair. The chairs all feature shaped crest rails above pierced vasiform splays and stiles. The seats are upholstered in a blanc de blanc damask fabric and rise on straights square legs. The side chairs’ legs are joined by stretchers. There are no visible maker’s marks.

Nicks, scratches, dents and other surface marks consistent with age and use
