A Mid-Century handwoven rug/wall hanging in the style of Joan Miró. This pictorial rug features a surrealistic scene comprised of a human figure and an abstract canine over an ivory field. It presents in a palette of ivory, coffee, wine, emerald, and cornflower blue, and finished with overcast selvedges and twisted fringe at either end. The piece is inspired by a series of 1940s tempera on canvas paintings by Spanish artist Joan Miró (1893-1983).
