Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Shirvan carpet runner. This wool rug is offered with an all-over herati pattern worked in navy, red, ecru, ivory, onyx, teal and mocha. The rug is framed by geometric and running water guard borders along with a main border containing a leaf and calyx-style pattern in complementary colors. Selvedges are overcast, finishing with ivory warp fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
