Vintage French Lemaire Mother-of-Pearl Opera Glasses
Item Details
A pair of antique French mother of pearl opera glasses. The glasses date to the late nineteenth century; each brass eyecap is fitted with finely ribbed black metal marked LeMaire FI Paris. Each barrel is fitted with faceted mother of pearl and joined by a brass bridge with brass focusing ring. The objective lenses are set in brass.
