Item Details
A Couristan power loomed area rug from the Kashimar collection. This powder blue wool French Kerman-style area rug has a pastel color palette, a floral medallion to the center with pendants to each end and ornate spandrels to each corner of the field. The field is surrounded by a beige compound border with arabesque floral motifs. The rug is finished with powder blue selvedges and attached fringe to each end. A brand label attached to the back reads ‘Power Loomed by Expert Craftsman in Belgium Kashiamar Couristan 100% Worsted Wool Pile’. The rug is number ‘8493 French Kerman/2704 M.Blue’.
