Item Details
A vintage, circa 1950, Duncan Phyfe style mahogany dining table, by Charak Furniture Co. The table has a rectangular mahogany top with a contrasting inlaid wood border and rounded corners. It comes with three 18-inch extension leaves, and it rests on two columns, each with three reeded saber legs with brass feet, on casters. The underside of the table retains its original maker’s label, which is marked ‘This piece was hand made in the workshops of Charak Furniture Co. Boston, Mass. – It is numbered 7106A – Made in Year 1950’.
