An Emperor Clock Co.grandfather clock with moon phase dial. The clock features a Federal style with a cherry finish on select hardwoods and veneers with swan pediments and an urn finial. Other features of the clock include side columns with corner blocks and a wood framed glass front door. The door displays raised brass spandrels accenting a richly colored moon phase clock with a pale and blue moon motif. Other features of the face include a brass face with etched brass spandrels and s silvertone dial with raised brass Arabic numbers and serpentine hands. The clock has a lower glass front door that displays a brass pendulum and cylinder style weights on chains and the clock features a chain driven German movement with Westminister chimes. The clock has a podium style pedestal with inset panels and a plinth style base with a scalloped edge and bracket feet. The clock is marked “Emperor Clock Co.” on the dial. The clock has a cherry finish on cherry wood and other hardwoods and has no lacquered finish.
