Antique Crown Staffordshire Chinoiserie Porcelain Plates ca. 1911-12
Item Details
A set of seven antique Crown Staffordshire porcelain plates. The chinoiserie plates feature pagodas on a waterfront with figures on a bridge and birds flying overhead with hand-embellishments in shades of blue, green, yellow and red. A scrolling border leads to blossoms and scrolls on a dotted verge ending in red rims. The English registry mark ‘Rd No 589090’ places production ca. 1911-12. The plates are marked ‘Crown Staffordshire’ to the undersides.
