Item Details
A hand-knotted inscribed Persian wool long rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of variegated cream, mahogany, stone, and black. The cream hued field features two rows of cruciform shaped medallions in a village style design, along with an inscription to one end. Framing the field is a main floral border, along with a pair of stylized carnation meander borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
