A hand-knotted Serabend area rug. This wool rug is hand-knotted in a palette of red, deep indigo, burgundy, coral, cerulean, cream, and black. The field is patterned with a mir-a-boteh pattern and it is framed with guard borders of sawtooth lines and Hamadan style meanders. It has a Serabend pattern main border and it is finished with overcast selvedges and fringe to either end.Unmarked.
