A group of three Chinese silk embroideries, each with painted watercolor accents that fill in areas of color outlined with stitching and add detail to the backgrounds and sky. They depict landscape scenes with houses and arched bridges, and each has a stitched inscription to an upper corner. They are presented unframed with silk brocade borders.

Condition

- discoloration present throughout each ground; minor wear to edges and corners of each boarder; foxing along verso of piece with blue border.

- measures one ground with border; visible image measures 11.5" W x 9.5" H.
