Vintage Indian Style Papier-mâché Urn with Wood Stand
Item Details
A vintage Indian style hand-painted papier-mâché urn with a separate wood stand. This bulbous urn features a pattern of seated royal figures, portrayed in a Mughal style, alternated with floral motifs around the body. Triangular protrusions run around the shoulder, surrounding a concave lip. The wood stand features a round center with scrolling legs and a dark cherry stain. A label that reads ‘Made in China’ is adhered to the underside.
