19th Century Staffordshire "Blue Willow" Platter and Vintage Wedgwood Platter

A 19th century Staffordshire Blue Willow platter and a vintage Wedgwood platter. The Blue Willow pattern displays a scenic design of a pagoda on a hill with an old willow tree stretching out over a cliff with a river that leads to a harbor and two birds flying overhead. It is accompanied with a vintage Wedgwood Harvard blue transferware platter featuring a design of the ‘Northeast Prospect of Harvard in 1823 from site later chosen for Memorial Hall’. The underwside bears the Wedgwood mark, along with the Harvard ‘veritas’ mark and is dated 1941.

Condition

- Blue Willow platter is chipped and has crazing and discoloration.
