Vintage Louis XV Style Mahogany and Ormolu Curio Cabinet
Item Details
A vintage Louis XV style mahogany curio cabinet. The display cabinet features a mahogany veneer frame with ormolu mounts, a glass panel door and glass panels to each side, over paintings of a courting couple and river scenes framed with ormolu mounts. The interior features a burgundy velvet lining, a single adjustable shelf and tonal braid trim to the glass panels. This cabinet rises on sabre legs joined with scalloped apron fronts. No maker’s marks or labels noted.
