Chinese Black Lacquer and Hardstone Cabinet by Jinlong

Item Details

A vintage, Chinese decorative cabinet. The black lacquered wood cabinet is embellished throughout with applied, carved hardstone flowers and intricate gold painted borders and accents. It has a rectangular top with waterfall edges on the sides, a cabinet with exposed brass hinges and a brass escutcheon, with a shelf inside, and there are two small drawers below, fitted with brass pendant pulls. The cabinet rests on scrolled bracket feet, and the back is labeled ‘Jinlong – Beijing Gold Inlaid Lacquer Furniture Factory – Made in The People’s Republic of China’.
