Item Details

A Japanese hand-painted ginger jar and brass candle holder with hurricane. The ginger jar has a dome shaped lid on an ovoid form with hand-painted floral motif decoration in a palette of pink and turquoise on a white porcelain body. It is marked ’ Japanese Porcelain Ware Decorated in Hong Kong’ to the underside. Also included is a brass candle holder featuring a single sconce and fluted drip pan. It is suspended within a flared glass hurricane by curved supports.
