Haviland Limoges Covered Cache Pot And Trinket Box

Item Details

A Haviland Limoges covered cache pot and trinket box. The cache pot has a white ground accented with bands of pink florals, between green leaves. The handles to either side of the pot are rolled with a bar through them. The lid is also accented with a handle all accented in gilt. The underside of the cache pot is stamped in red “CH. Field, Haviland, Limoges” and in green “GOA France”. The Limoges trinket Nantucket basket is finished in a brown glaze with a scene to the top of the basket of a lighthouse and ships in blue. The inside lid of the basket is white and accented with a ship and birds, a metal handle and closure is affixed to the trinket box with the underside reading ‘Limoges France’.
