A cast metal sculpture titled The End of the Trail after listed artist James Earle Fraser (American, 1876 – 1953). This replica base metal sculpture depicts a man on horseback, his head bowed as his steed stumbles at the edge of a cliff. It is inscribed ‘J. E. Fraser’ in gold tone lettering by an unknown hand and presented with a title plaque affixed to the base. The sculpture is presented atop an oval shaped marble base.

- light surface and edge wear; some scratches; some accretions.
