A vintage oil painting on panel titled Buffet Clown by listed American artist Leslie Emery (1912-1998). This piece depicts a clown in full makeup and oversized white gloves smoking a cigarette and holding a plate full of food in one hand and a mug of coffee in the other with donuts on two of his fingers. The plate is tilted and starting to spill beans, while coffee drips over the rim of the cup, and this cigarette has burned to ash between his lips. The piece is rendered with a realistic style and signed to the lower right corner. It is presented in a painted black wood frame with wire for hanging and a label affixed to the verso.

- to Fair; some abrasions and paint loss to painting; accretion to paint surface; visible nail holes to upper edge of painting; surface wear with paint loss to frame; water damage to what remains of the paper backing.
