A Chinese wood carving. This work depicts a wood sculpture of figure on a horse and figure standing behind. The figure on the horse holds a spear while the figure behind holds a flag. No maker marks were found on this piece.

Condition

- residue throughout crevasses of carving; chips and surface abrasions beneath bottom of carving; toning throughout front of carving and lighter coloration throughout verso of carving.
