A limited edition serigraph print titled Hillside Houses by Cincinnati artist John Nartker (1930 – 1998). This print features a stylized depiction of tile roofed houses on a hillside, with a garden below and a tree-lined ridge above, rendered in Nartker’s typical geometric patterns and earth toned palette. This work is signed, titled and numbered 35 out of an edition of 40 across the lower margin. It is presented behind a light brown mat, under glass, in a tan metal frame and is ready to hang with a wire.

Known both locally and internationally, John R. Nartker is an artist in painting, printmaking, and ceramics. At the College of Mount St. Joseph, he served as the Department of Art Chair for eight years, and inspired students as a professor for over 30 years.
