Antique Victorian Eastlake Walnut Chest of Drawers
Item Details
An antique Victorian Eastlake walnut chest of drawers, circa late 19th century. The chest of drawers includes a rectangular top with beveled edge that overhands a cuboid case with three stacked, full-width drawers. The drawers feature Knapp or scallop-and-dowell joints (in use 1871-1900), fluted and incised fronts, keyholes, and brass-toned bail handles on decorative plates. It rises on simple bracket feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
