An antique Victorian needlepoint upholstered folding chair with leather straps. The walnut chair features a carved, shaped crest rail over a needlepoint upholstered panel and bamboo turned stiles that continue to form front legs. The needlepoint upholstered seat attaches to the turned back legs connected to the stiles by leather straps. The needlepoint upholstery is pink with multicolor floral motifs and pink gimp trim. The seat folds upwards for easy storage and transportation. There are no visible maker’s marks.
