A restrike woodblock print after Japanese artist Takahashi Shōtei’s (née Hiroaki 1871-1945) Shower at Terashima. This piece depicts the edge of a village in driving rain, a line of figures moving along a winding path surrounded by a rippling body of water. The print features a red seal to its lower left and a small block of calligraphic text further up the edge. It is presented under glass in a wooden frame with a wire for hanging to its verso.

- fair; toning throughout ground; scuffs along edges and front face of frame; foxing, toning, and punctures present on backing paper on verso of frame.
