An East Asian style watercolor and gouache painting on silk of a nature scene. This painting depicts a stout, blue bird perched on a thin branch sprouting pastel colored flowers. To the center is painted calligraphic characters and a red artist stamp. The painting is presented under glass beneath matting surrounded by a foliate brocade, which is placed in a black wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- slight wear to frame; wired at the bottom portion of the frame in an upside down orientation.
