Vintage Stiffel Mantle Clock

Item Details

A vintage Stiffel mantel clock. A pocket watch style mantel clock with a cherry finished wood case and a brass handle. The case has a round bonnet with a glass front door that is surrounded by a brass frame. The door displays a gold tone bezel surrounding a white dial with black Roman numerals with Arabic minutes on the outer dial and black serpentine hands. The clock has a quartz movement with a battery compartment on the verso and stands on a plinth style wood base. The clock is marked ‘Stiffel’ on the verso.

Condition

- to fair; not tested for time keeping, not running at time of inspection. Very small amount of soil around dial on clock face, overall good., some wear to wood, few nicks.
