A hand hooked wool accent rug. The rug is designed with a gold background with diamond medallion to the center in shades of tangerine, pale yellow, aqua blue and orange, with a serrated white border to the outside. The rug has a major border composed of floral forms in shades of navy blue, tangerine, salmon and aqua blue, flanked by guard stripes in geometric motifs. The rug is bound to all sides with a gold canvas band to the verso. The rug was handmade by the owner of the estate.
