Maypole with Ribbons and Ceramic Base
Item Details
A free-standing maypole. This piece features a black painted central column with multicolored May Day ribbons affixed to the gold-toned finial cap, and gold-toned applied braiding down the haft. The maypole rests on a removable ceramic base painted in shades of teal and pink, with an inscription to the underside of one piece dated 1991.
